Greetings Rivals,
Beginning with this week's Mithril event and in all Mithril Events moving forward, we've expanded the pool of Ancients which are eligible for Bonus Battle Points.
Mithril Events are designed to be lower intensity than most other event formats, and should be easy to complete without the use of specific Ancients. Historically we've allowed Sulric to grant Bonus Battle Points for those looking to expedite the process if they're eager to finish the event as early as possible, and Sulric was chosen to fill this role as he is an Ancient that all players have access to.
Over time we've heard the feedback that some players feel that using Sulric in these events is mandatory and that using the same Ancient for a monthly recurring event has become a source of fatigue and frustration.
We wanted to address this feedback while maintaining the original spirit of the design by ensuring that Mithril Event Ancients are easily accessible Ancients that most players will earn access to early in their progress through the game. This should remain an opt-in way of speeding up your Mithril Events rather than making these events drastically faster to complete across the board.
So we've added another Ancient for each element to the pool of Ancients which receive Bonus Battle Points in Mithril Events to hopefully offer a bit more variety and maybe encourage you to try out some new allies on the battlefield!
